JOY, PEACE, LOVE..

Hiya thanks for popping in,I spent all yesterday afternoon on my card, I kept sticking things on upside down, back to front I was ready to give up at one point, plus my hubby was talking to me  all the time which wasn't helping lol, but hey it all came together in the end. I have used quite a few dies to many to mention them all. My little snowman is from Penny Black called Jolly  Friends, I coloured him with my promarkers then cut him out.   JOY, PEACE, LOVE. sentiment is also a Penny Black stamp from another set called Wonder Collection ...

Fairytale or Fantasy

Today we have a new challenge over at Cardz4Galz, Helen has chosen the theme for this next two weeks which is Fairytale/ Fantasy. So.why not pop into the blog and joy in with the fun and see What amazing creations the rest of the DT have made, hopefully you will find plenty of inspiration.for my card I have made a tag, I am really out of my comfort zone with this sort of technique, but that's one thing I love about being on a DT it makes you do things you don't normally do but I enjoy trying..for my tag I used stamps from inkylicious and Lavinia and distress inks for my background..

                                

                                 

Spell on You

Morning all thank you for popping in, today we have a new challenge over at Sparkles  Monthly and this month Del has chosen the theme and she would like to see Put a Spell on You ( Halloween )  i hope you will pop on over to Sparkles Monthly and see the fabulous  cards and inspiration from the rest of the DT.. For my card I have used some Halloween stamps from Stampendous, the owl stamp is from Hampton Arts, a friend sent me all the Halloween stamps, I stamped the little cat & the pumpkin then cut them out and added them to my card, I coloured the owl with promarkers, and added a bit of London Fog memento ink around the image, the dies I used are from Spellbinders Nestabilities, and layering dies from Tonic.

Today belongs to You

Hello my crafty friends, I recently purchased the Crazy Dog  stamps  a couple of weeks ago now, and I have been itching to get them stamped up, so today I thought I would have a play, I stamped a couple of the dogs and thought what do I do now, there's so many amazing cards out there made with the crazy dogs and heaps of inspiration to get you started, so I just went for it and hope I have not duplicated anyone's card. I coloured the dog, parcels, and balloons, with a mixture of promarkers copic's and Spectrum noir. The balloon card is from a pad called Betty's studio and measure's 30 x 15cm,  with glitter and embossed pages, it's lovely I bought it here in Portugal, the sentiment is a rubber stamp it comes with a few more, sorry I have lost the pkt so I can not remember who made them..

Challenge # 69

It's hard to believe it's the 1st October already. We have a new challenge for you at  SparklesChristmas and this time we would like to see a SNOWMAN ( this must be a Prominent feature). For my DT card I have gone with an image from stampendous I coloured with promarkers and added some lose glitter, the Fleur De Lis rectangle is the background die,, I am sorry but I can not remember where the die came from I have used as a tree, I used a old Merry Christmas sentiment stamp from Woodware, all other papers came from my scrap box...our sponsor this time is Caz who is kindly giving away this wonderful prize to one lucky winner..

hello, so pleased you have popped in, this is the second of my two new stamps I received last week, it's from wild rose Studio, I stamped them on to a oval shape cut from tonic oval die, then onto another oval shape this time it's the scallop edge from tonic, I coloured them with pro-markers, and added some lose glitter, I did not have a Christmas word so I just stamped Christmas and add the cut out wishes, I am not sure on the die behind my stamped image as it was cut out a while ago , buttons and papers are from my craft box and scrap box, I was rushing to finish my card last night before the day light went, I had my card with the opening at the top but I stuck my image on with out realising serves me right for rushing haha..

Autumn colours

Challenge # 32

Today we have a new challenge for you at Cardz4Galz and its Amy who as chosen the theme for this next fortnight , and she would like to see Fall( autumn colours) on your cards or projects..  For my DT card I have used one of Penny Johnson clear stamps from stampavie, I have had this stamp for quite a while and it's one of my favourites, when I look at the image I can imagine her and her little dog going for a walk on a windy day, it's my be because her scarf and hair looks like it's blowing in the wind..from a piece of white card i cut out the square stitched edge die from memory box to stamp my image onto ,the purple square deckle edge i cut from tonic nesting die's, I coloured my image with my promarkers, and for the leaves, i coloured a piece of card with my mementos ink pads  bamboo leaves, potters clay, and Dandelion to try and create some Autumn colours , I then punched the leaves out with a leaf punch that I bought here in Portugal, but it has no manufacturing name so I don't know who made it..

Well that's the summer holidays over,the last of my family headed off home to England first thing this morning! When my niece arrived last Saturday she brought me two gorgeously cute stamps from Wildrose studio, which I love , i have been waiting all week to stamp them up, so now the washing and cleaning done I sat down and made this card with one of my new stamps called Robins on Branch. I coloured them with my water colour pencils, I don't use them often and I feel out of my comfort zone when I do, but anyway that's what i used and I enjoyed using them, just need more practice lol..I added glitter to there cute little hats and some glitter on the berries too, the Merry Christmas sentiment is a old stamp from Woodward, the Star Die is from Memory Box, papers, buttons, and confetti are all from my craft box..

Lace & Pearls

Challenge # 84

Today we have a new challenge starting over at Sparkles Monthly, this time we would like to see REAL LACE (not punched) and PEARL's chosen by Cathy. We have a lovely sponsor this month Little Claire Designs who will be giving one lucky winner a set of stamps. For my DT card I have used a free image I got from the Internet, background papers are from my scrap box, the bird stamps were a gift from a friend, I think she got them from lidle  a while ago now lace, pearl's and flowers are from my craft box

Yesterday I decided I wanted to make a card,  i haven't been doing much crafting recently but yesterday for the first time in weeks I really felt like doing some crafting, so not really knowing what I wanted to do I just played about and eventually I came up with this card. I think I will send it to my friend in America seeing she sent me some Halloween stamps last month, the crazy cats I had stamped already so I just coloured it with memento potter's clay and the hat with bamboo leaves. The background I used is a piece of card I cut from a wall die, then I used it to stencil through with memento LondonFog. The orange shaped hexagon card I stamped  a spiders web on it  from MSE using memento London Fog, as you can see I have used a few die cuts that I cut out ages ago, I know the brands but I can not remember the names of all of them.
