Winter friends...

                   hello, the weekend is here again and I am so excited, our friends from Home
                    Are coming to stay with us for the next two weeks before we head on back to 
                    England for a short time, catch up with the family and a bit of christmas
                       Shopping where has this year gone..
                 

                                                  

           

               Today I have used another Penny Black stamp I have coloured it with Promarkers and then I added glitter to there hats to give them a frosty feel.... both oval dies are from tonic the other dies are from MB..the little jewels are for putting on your finger nails but I have found a better use for them..the little stars are from some other die I had cut out before...

Hello hope you all have had a lovely weekend

Today I have made what I think is called a lever card, one of my lovely followers gave me the recipe to make this shape card and I have really had fun making it...

I have used some papers I have had for a while to use as my back ground, all the images I asked a friend if she would mind stamping and sending them out to me which she very kindly did so, so thank you Joan..  the buttons are from my sewing box..I coloured the images a bit with my brown ink pad to try and make them look a bit old or vintage looking...

Baby Hammock

Morning, the weather here today in Portugal is a bit over cast with a light drizzle of rain, but the blue sky is starting to come through...

For my card today I have used the sweet Baby Hammock stamp from Penny Black..I just love there stamps.. I used a couple of water pencils and a couple of promarkers pens to colour with.. My background papers are from lilyofthevalley..nitwit collection bonnets & bowties...the pink spotted piece of paper was just a scrap piece I had left over from another card I had made..the buttons ribbon and the little jewels are from my craft box..the balloon die was a freebie with one of the craft mags...I am entering my card into the following challenges

                hello, welcome to my blog, I hope you all are having a fab weekend..

Well all my family went home to England this last week, its been very quite here and I must say I have really missed not having them around, but on the other hand, it means more time for card making...

today I have made a swing card, it's a long time since I made one and I really enjoyed making it.

The snow flake stamp was a freebie from a craft mag, which a very dear friend sent me, she also sent the stamped Penny Black image too, along with a few more stamped images, seeing that I left a load of stamped images back home in England..it's about right for me lol..

Hello and thank you for visiting my blog..i would just like to say hello to my latest follower kellie...I had not realised its been a couple of weeks since I last posted..how time flies..I have been so busy making my granddaughters wedding stationery but it's all done now, but as much as I have loved doing it I don't think I would do it again...

i am back in Portugal for the next couple of months but I could really kick myself I had stamped a load of images to fetch with me, how disappointed I was when I discovered I had not packed them...but I had a few stamped images here to put me on, and my best friend is going to send me some....

Hello, welcome to my blog nice of you to pop in for a visit..I love this old christmas stamp from hero arts called Snow People Border, look how happy they all look...I have not used it in years...I stamped it twice so I could paper pierce the snow lady with the pinnie on....I distressed the edges added a bit of ink and then added glitter to the edges

Hello... Well what  a miserable out look it is  today, just the sort of day for staying in and crafting and that's just what I have done.. While looking through my stamps for something completely different I came across this old stamp from FUN STAMPS called Racing Ted, I have not used him in years, and I have plenty more that I think should make a reappearance , it's no point in having all these old stamps if there never to be used what do you say... Items used are

The stamping on the oval dose not really show up, I have used a blue distress ink pad that has dried really light, and makes it hard to read, but it says, Bon Voyage Safe Travels
