You are so Tweet....

Today I have been over to see my friend and after we had a good chin wag we finally got down to crafting, I have just been given the CRAZY BIRDS  off my daughter for my birthday, which is not until June, but she knew I was dying to get my hands on them...I am really out of my comfort zone with this technique, but I must say I absolutely love it... my friend had already made a few cards with these crazy birds and used the BRUSHOS as a back ground, well I was just blown away with them how you add one colour then spray water next minute there's all different colours , so here we have it my first ever card using the Brusho's, these are one item I really need..

It's your birthday

Good morning, hope everyone has had a lovely easter.. I just love these cats from Penny black , the expression on there faces just make me laugh... I have used promarkers to colour the image, distressed and glittered the edges, added a couple of punched little flowers and a sentiment & ribbon,  background papers are some 12x12 I cut down..I would like to enter my card into the following challenges

Lady in Pink

Hello, hope you all have had a good  easter, the weather was good too which was a added bonus...
I have used a stamp from Penny black , coloured  with promarkers, mounted onto a piece of black card, background papers are from a 8x8 paper pad,  ribbon, button, and pearls are from my craft box...

Enjoy your Birthday...

Hope your all having a lovely easter and not eaten to many easter eggs... lol. Today I have used one of my new stamps from Penny Black I do love there stamps this one is called APRIL in PARIS... I used wild honey to distress the background and coloured the image with promarkers, then mounted the image on to a doily. Then added a birthday sentiment. I don't think this needs much more. Although it's not my usual card i do quite like the look of less is more... I would like to enter this card into the follower ing challenges...

I made this card for a good friend to say thank you for all her help she has given us through out our stay here in Portugal.. I have used  various dies, the butterfly punch I found in a Chinese shop here in Portugal how excited was I. You just don't find crafting things here...

Cake

hello hope everybody has had a fab weekend, did you seen the Eclipse how amazing was that then... today I have used the penny black hedgehogs , I thought it just suited one or two of the challenges I am entering my card into, my BP are from a 8x8 & 6x6 paper pads , mounted onto a 5x5 card, the image I have used water colour pencil, the top butterfly, & label are dies from memory box, and the butterfly underneath the other butterfly is a punch, flower, ribbon & button are from my craft box.

Hope all you mums out there have had a lovely Mother's Day, my children are far away but i did get cards from them and presents too, so I was very happy. I have used yet another Penny black stamp and I think this will be the last one for  now, I just love hedgehogs , this card started out as a male card which I don't make , but as you can see it, ended up with flowers and dimatie's, I need to buy myself some male stamps and try harder I think.. My papers are just left over bits I am trying to use up...

Spring is in the Air..

afternoon everybody and I hope your all having a fab weekend  what ever it is your doing. Today I have used another penny black stamp, after all they are my favourite stamps... I have used the lovely SUNNY PAIR.... I coloured the image with my promarkers, I only have one set here in Portugal at the moment, so I am limited to choice of colour. I have used bits of scrap paper and green card left over from other cards Ive made,  I have used the gorgeous grunge stamp from stamp in up a little in the corners of my image, added a doilie some ribbon, a couple of pearls n all mounted onto a 6x6 card. Mother's Day

Good afternoon , it's a lovely day here today plenty of warm sun shine & blue skies. For my card to day I have choosen the beautiful Botanical Notes from Penny Black, very kindly sent to me a couple of weeks ago by a good friend. I have coloured my image with promarkers , paper pieced the butterfly, used memento ink  pad to colour the edges of my image, added 2 dollies and some pieces of scrap paper I had left over from another project I was doing.
