Sew n Sew

Morning all, hope you all are enjoying this lovely weather. I can not believe where these weeks are going, I've had a migraine for the last two days, so last night I had A very early night,   but then about 11.30  I woke up with a jolt and remembered I hadn't scheduled my post, lol. It took me ages to do my post as the Internet kept going off and on, but hey I got there in the end.. For the next two weeks at  Cardz 4 Galz we have a new challenge for you and it's Sew and Sew  chosen by Caz, we would love to see your creations as always, so come on guys get your sewing stamps and dies out or anything else you have to do with sewing, we hope you will find inspiration from the DT to help you get started. I am not happy with my card, it took me ages to think what I can do and normally I love making sewing themed cards but I could not think of anything to make, I think it's this migraine,   I eventually used an  image from Flonz crafts called Vintage Retro which I stamped twice and paper pieced , I have had these stamps for years and this is the first time I have used them, now that's shocking,  the Taylor's dummy and ruler were free with the card making magazine years ago, I have used a rectangle die which i seem to be using a lot just recently that's from The Works, buttons and the little flower are out of my craft box, handmade by stamp was a present from a friend.

morning all hope everyone enjoyed the beautiful sunshine yesterday I was hoping summer had come at last. Today I would like to share a card with you that I made for our new challenge over at Sparkles Monthly which is Embossing (heat or Dry) chosen by Silvi. For my background I have used one of Sue Wilson embossing folders called Rose Bloom, Die's used are Maddison Square and Mosaic Leaves also from Sue Wilson. The sentiment  (Go Confidently)  is from friskers. which I embossed in gold embossing powder,  I had been playing with some New to me Honey Doo stamps and stamped them on parchment after watching a video on YouTube, my son is getting married next month and the bridesmaids are in lilac, so I thought I would have a go at making my own button hole, I was so pleased with the way they turned out, I showed them to my daughter-in-law to be and she love's them too, the smaller ones I added to my card here and added some diamant√©'s. Hope to see you over at Sparkles Monthly come and joy in with the fun we always look forward to seeing your beautiful creation's and as always you will find plenty of inspiration from the rest of the DT ..

What a beautiful day it's been, I have spent the day with my friend in the yorkshire dales, we didn't get to do much crafting,  but I did manage to make this card using the beautiful poppy stamp from Penny Black called  Blooming Garden. My friend has a die for the poppy which I really struggled with to cut out the poppy, I did manage to do it this one time but when I tried to cut some more out I could not get the die to line up with the stamped  image, Which I coloured with promarkers, I cut the aperture and frame using a rectangle die, I coloured the cloud embossing folder with memento sky blue ink  pad, and put my piece of card in between the embossing folder and rang it through my spellbinders machine to emboss it. The love die is from Sizzix..

None Traditonal Colours

Morning all today is my Birthday yippee !!,  at last I can open my cards and  presents that I have really really had to stop myself from opening for the last couple of days,  I received a parcel from my friend in America on Monday, and I have been dying to open it,  my husband gave me some money which I spent on the  Tim holtz stamping board which I just love
Today there is new challenge starting over at Christmas Sparkles  chosen by Helen who would love to see None Traditional Colour. the rest of the  DT have made some really beautiful cards for you to take inspiration from, so please do pop over to the challenge and join in with  the fun.  I made a card by cutting two of the stitched edge tags and  then I cut  another tag in the spotted paper, I stamped my little characters and coloured  them with my promarkers, before die cutting them and adding them to the circle on my card, the little purple bow is from my craft box sentiment came with the stamps, all dies and stamps are from Lawn Fawn.
